Why Equilorium exists
Many organisations genuinely care about employee wellbeing but struggle to move beyond surface-level initiatives.
Equilorium was founded on a simple idea: organisations perform best when the wellbeing of their people is treated as a strategic priority rather than an afterthought.
Our approach
At Equilorium, we take a practical, people-centred approach to workplace wellbeing.
Workplace stress is rarely the result of a single issue. It is shaped by a complex combination of organisational structures, leadership practices, workload pressures, and individual behaviours. Addressing it effectively therefore requires more than surface-level initiatives or one-off interventions.
Our work focuses on understanding how these factors interact within each organisation. Rather than offering generic programmes, Equilorium collaborates with organisations to develop solutions that reflect their specific culture, operational realities, and strategic priorities.
Equilorium’s work typically begins with developing a clear understanding of the factors contributing to workplace stress within an organisation. From there, we help organisations translate insight into structured approaches that leaders and employees can realistically implement in everyday working life.
The aim is not to introduce short-term wellbeing initiatives, but to help organisations embed approaches that support both performance and psychological health over the long term.
Equilorium’s philosophy is simple: when organisations take a thoughtful, structured approach to wellbeing, they create environments where people are better able to perform, adapt, and thrive.
Founder
Equilorium was founded by Marie Scott, whose career spans the energy industry, IT services, personal finance, and communications. Working across these sectors provided first-hand insight into the pace, complexity, and pressures that many professionals navigate in modern organisations.
Through this experience, she developed a strong interest in the relationship between workplace environments, stress, and long-term wellbeing. Her work focuses on translating behavioural and emotional insight into practical tools that organisations can integrate into everyday working life.
Alongside her professional career, Marie has undertaken training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and talking therapies, deepening her understanding of the emotional and behavioural factors that influence stress and resilience.
Equilorium brings together these two perspectives: real-world experience of corporate environments and evidence-informed wellbeing approaches designed to help organisations support healthier, more sustainable ways of working.
